DYADO’s self titled E.P. comes as the end result of a year long collaboration between cousins, friends and kindred spirits, Louisa Stancioff, Emily Ramsey, and Matt Lohan. The group began to lay the ground work for the project in June of 2015. They built a home studio in Louisa’s Grandfather’s barn in Camden, Maine, and tracked new original work throughout the summer. They continued working through busy college schedules in the fall and winter, until the tracking was finally finished in April of 2016, in Matt’s hometown of Charleston, SC. The end result is an artful collaboration that spans the east coast from Maine to South Carolina and back again in style and spirit. With material ranging from groovy banjo driven love songs in three part harmony, to hard hitting alt-country style ballads, the debut E.P. is a breakout work that showcases the group’s stunning collaborative songwriting and a wealth of vocal talent.
